The fiber concrete made from steel fiber and cement is a new type of complex materials in the world. Due to excellent tensile, bending, and shearing strength, high tenacity, and resistance against cracking, impact, and fatigue, it is widely used for buildings, road surface, bridges, tunnels, airport road surface, water conservancy projects, military engineering, and all kinds of building products. Performance: 1. Tensile strength 25-50% higher than ordinary concrete, bending strength 40-80% higher , shearing strength 50-100% higher, pressure resistance 25% higher. 2. Resistance against frost, heat and gas erosion remarkably higher. After 150 cycles of friezing and melting experiment, its resistance against pressing and bending lower by 20%, compared with 60% reduction of ordinary concrete. The product keeps intact after 200 cycles of tests. 3. Substituting sprayed steel fiber concrete for steel bar concrete lining or steel bar net sprayed concrete lining, the product has such merits as small section, high strength, good tenacity and simple construction.
